چکیده

The evaluation of soil-water characteristic curve is one the most important procedures in matter understanding soil behaviour during wetting and drying processes. Even though it might be carried out by established methods, this practice considered a time-consuming technique, because still under-used comparison with its potential applications. In way, paper aims to analyse correlation suction resistivity produce time-reduced (SWCC), based on measured values. To perform research, was used set samples collected from Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. material geotechnically characterized standard methods. determine filter method volumetric water content/suctions were obtained stages for two paths that emerged field moisture content. results revealed remarkable relationship between data, emphasizing feasibility determining Soil-Water Characteristic Curve measurements, here named Resistivity (SWResC).
